Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Tendering Support of Technical Assistance for Sub Regional Road Transport Project Preparatory Facility-II under ADB Loan 3295-BAN: Additional Financing to the Subregional Transport Project Preparatory Facility (SRTPPF-II) (Variation Order – Addendum Part 2- Review Work of Additional two Roads).

The DSCL has engaged by Hifab International AB (hereunder referred to as the Client) to carry out Traffic Study (including Traffic Survey) and Traffic Modelling; Funded by ADB.

Scope of work are as follows.

1.    To provide input as per TOR and guideline of the Team Leader within the scope of work of the project.

2.    To visit the site as per requirements of the project and the client.

3.    To prepare TOR for all types of traffic and axle load survey and lead the supervision of the survey works.

4.    To collect necessary data from concern stakeholders, agencies, and authorities in cooperation with the client for possible future development/project plan along and surrounding the corridor and assess/analyse the data for making plan and using in the project road design purposes.

5.    To analyse and recommend traffic growth rate and estimate projected traffic volume.

6.    To analyse the traffic flow along and surrounding the corridor and carry out microscopic, mesoscopic, macroscopic, and metascopic (whichever applicable as per TOR) simulations models using transportation modelling software (Vissim, Vissum, Cube, TransCAD etc.).

7.    To recommend vehicular damage factor & calculate of EASL.

8.    To suggest lane width and intersection type according to flow direction analysis and accommodate possible future development/project plan of the concern authorities to the new design.

9.    To assess impact and benefit for the improvement of the corridor as desired by the client.

10.  To prepare Traffic Forecast Report and address comments from Client, its stakeholders as well the Donor Agency with proper justifications and references, make presentation slides and present if necessary.

11.  To attend meetings as per client and donor’s need.

12.  To submit softcopies of all his developments done in the project for future use of the employer.

13.  To cooperate and collaborate with other Team members of the consultants.

14.  To follow the Hifab Code of Conduct and the Conditions of Contract strictly.
