| Description of Project:
Second Rural Transport Improvement Project (RTIP-2) is a key infrastructure initiative of the Government of Bangladesh. The overall objectives of EA for the Dredging on Rural Waterways at the Branch of Old Surma River from Krishnapur to Dhanpur and Dredging of the Link Khal from Dhanu River to Digalhati in Khaliajuri Upazila of Netrokona district under the Second Rural Transport Improvement Project (RTIP-2). The DSCL services are Environmental Monitoring and Testing of 03 Air Quality and 10 Noise Measurement for Waterways Dredging Sub-projects at Netrokona District. |

Services included: § The ambient air quality monitoring at the three subproject locations. § The ambient sound level monitoring at the ten subproject locations for both day and night time. § Preparation of an Environmental Quality Test Report.
