| Description of Project:
The P2 component of the project is a transmission pipeline with 2×1.6m dia starting from Gandharbpur water treatment plant to the US Embassy. P3 (lot 1) is the primary distribution water pipeline with 1.4-0.8 m dia starting from US Embassy to Utarra DMA. P3 (Lot 2) is secondary distribution of pipeline with 0.4-0.8 m dia will be connected to DMAs. This implies that the priority of 139 bore holes for P2 and 132 bore holes for P3. The main objectives of the planned preliminary geotechnical investigation are: § Describe sub surface soil characteristics § Describe soil stability and suitability § Characterize the variability, depth, aerial extent and engineering properties of onsite soils and other overburden deposits. § Compile an inventory of soils and deposits suitable for use in construction and identify the proposed use of this material. § Identify geotechnical considerations (such as settlement and slope stability) which must be Evaluate engineering properties of on-site material § Soil test and investigate site stability § Determination of stability factor |

Services included: · Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (SPM, PM10, PM2.5, NOx, SO2, CO, VOC) for two (02) locations · Noise & Vibration (velocity, Acceleration and Displacement) Level Measurement for two (02) locations · Water Quality Test Results for two (02) locations. · Preparation of four (04) Environmental Monitoring Reports for the duration of May 2018 to August 2018. The two environmental monitoring reports will be for package 2 and another two environmental monitoring reports for package 3 · Preparation of one environmental quality test report for the month of September 2018. |
