Traffic Survey (Overall Road), Socio-Economic Survey (Bridges), Environmental Survey, Lap Survey (Bridge Diversion Area), Video Data Collection, Bridge preliminary Survey/Reconnaissance Survey Under Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Hydromorphology study and conceptual Design for Replacement of Damaged/Narrow/Temporary Bridges and Culverts of Mymensingh Zone.

The total bridges and culverts of Mymensingh Zone on RHD road network a significant number of Bridges and culverts are damaged/narrow/temporary. Ensuring regular timely maintenance of these bridges has been a major challenge again as a potential source of congestion. These bridges are culverts hindering economic activities, currently 97 bridges (+15%) and 115 culverts (+15%) of Mymensingh zone which are damaged or narrow or temporary to are required to be replaced. Again, a new bridge is to be constructed at Shikirhat over Bhairab river at Narail-Fultola Zilla Highway. Hydro morpholoogy study for this bridge has been completed. The Length of the Channel is 150 m and the proposed length of the bridge is 1158 meter. There for Feasibility of this proposed bridge is required to conduct the Feasibiity Study exploring technical and financial feasibility including above 100m length (Approx. 15 numbers of Bridges) Again a hydro morphology Study is required for 7 KM portion of Madarganj-koira Monsurnagar (Kazipur) Abdullapur Mohr (Sarishabri)-Dhanbari Road which is surrounded by Jamuna River.

The scope of work includes – Traffic Survey, Socio Economic Survey, Environmental Survey (17 EIA) and Bridge Preliminary Survey/Reconnaissance Survey, LAP Survey and Video Data Collection. A total of 20 IEE will be prepared apart from the Shikirhat Bridge. Detail traffic survey with demand forecasting shall also be presented as part of this study.

Besides, DSCL will also help to develop the feasibility study report by preparation of Demand Analysis, Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change, Institutional Arrangement etc. chapters. DSCL will also conduct bridge preliminary and video survey for the existing and proposed bridges respectively. However, detail socioeconomic survey will also be carried out as part of the study.
