Assignment Name:

Technical Study including Model Simulation for Water Resources Availability and its Impact Due to Abstraction, Use and Discharge to the project area.

Country:  Bangladesh
Project Duration: 09/2023 to date
Description of Project:

The proposed 50 MW grid-connected Solar Power Project would be set up at 5.23 km (aerial distance) away from the 132/33 KV Grid substation at Baraiyarhat. The project also proposes to set-up a 132 kV single circuit power transmission line for the evacuation of power from the proposed 50MW solar power plant to the existing grid substation at Baraiyarhat, Chattogram owned by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd (“PGCB”).  The length of the proposed transmission line would be approximately 7 km. The proposed 50 MW Solar Power Project is a utility scale grid connected Photo-Voltaic (PV) plant. Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant with Silicon Solar Modules of Bifacial Type will be used
