Consultancy Services for Environmental Quality Testing and Assessment for Dhaka – Tongi – Joydebpur (DTJ) Railway Project

setting up 3rd and 4th dual gauge train lines on Dhaka-Tongi and doubling of dual gauge line on the Tongi-Joydebpur section

Services included:

• Ambient Air Quality Monitoring at 5 locations in 2 hours duration. The parameter only CO.
• Ambient Noise Level Measurement at 5 locations in day and night time (15 minutes duration in each time).
• Surface Water Quality Monitoring at 6 locations. The parameters are: pH, Color, Turbidity, Chloride, Electric Conductivity (EC), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BODs), Ammonia- Nitrogen (NH3-N), Total Dissolve Solid (TDS), Total Suspended Solid (TSS) and Oil and Greas
• Groundwater Quality Monitoring at 5 locations. The parameters are: pH, Color, Turbidity, Total Hardness as CaCO3, Heavy Metal (As), Total Coliform, Fecal Coliform, and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS).

Preparation of an environmental quality (air, noise, groundwater, and surface water) test report.
